General

I have been a professional script writer for nine years but have been writing for 14 years. In this time I have written dozens of short and feature film, and four TV series, scripts.

I am an author of a graphic novel, Drago Bentley: Space Detective; have completed a pilot 3D animation of a web-series project; and have produced and directed five short films (three of which were screened at the Canberra Short Film Festival and the Dungog Film Festival).

In addition, I have been AD on another five shorts films, produced an animation of two chapters of my graphic novel, and have won first, second and third places and consistently placed at least in quarter-finals in international scriptwriting competitions.

I am a recipient of four ScreenCanberra funding rounds for my projects and am currently engaged as a screenplay assessor with the international film sales agent Odin’s Eye Entertainment  and have completed an online TV screenwriting course from ScreenwritingU.

2018-2020

Completed two feature film scripts: My Mate Horrie and Deception Effect. Also completed an outline for a third feature film – Transfer.
2019 Finalist in a Filmmatic Drama Screenplay Awards for TV series Exposure.
2018 Finalist in a Filmmatic Drama Screenplay Awards for TV series Toska – now re-titled as Sects in the Country.
In early 2019, I completed pre-production work for The Film Distillery for the feature film, The Furies
2018 Finalist in a Filmmatic Drama Screenplay Awards for TV series Toska.
2018 Finalist in Filmmatic Web-Series competition – produced a pilot and 9 episodes x 6 minute web-series project called Home (collaboration with Sebastian Chan and Scott Cadzow). Completed 90 seconds of 3D animation (available on request).
Completed ScreenwritingU’s online writing binge-worthy TV series course.

Continued doing script coverage for Odin’s Eye Entertainment throughout 2019 (but none during 2020).
